This Agua Is Aqua Colored – Hokitika Gorge Scenic Reserve – Kokatahi, New Zealand
Yesterday we discovered Hokitika Gorge and the aqua colored stream that runs through it. That’s not a filter, that is the actual color of the water. It’s apparently caused by fine grain, silt size particles of bedrock becoming suspended in the water; a side effect of glacial erosion. You can try to comprehend that, or just enjoy the view.
