Ésta Es Para Ti, Sarah – Punta Jesús María – Ometepe, Nicaragua
On our fist full day on Ometepe, we decided to rent scooters so we could properly explore the island. It was a busy day which included a little bit of everything: hiking, swimming and lots of swerving and stopping for random pigs, chickens, horses, cows and iguanas (the iguana almost made us crash!). At one point, 10 feet in front of us, a monkey dropped from a tree and scampered across the road. He was too fast, no breaking was required for him 🙂
We ended the day at Punta Jesus Maria, which is a small sand bar that juts out into lake Nicaragua. This picture is in honor of Sarah Hume. We have some practice to do on our jumps!
