Nice Form On That Upward Facing Dog! – Fyffe Quay – Kaikoura, New Zealand

Our first few days in New Zealand were rainy ones.  Since we only had one day in Kaikoura, a beach town on the north eastern coast, we decided to make the best of it and put on our rain gear and set out for a hike. We hiked a trail that overlooked a seal colony, which was home to a ton of seals…imagine that, a ton of seals in a seal colony. They wouldn’t let you get too close to them, if you did, they’d bark at you, which was enough warning for us to move back before they started waddling their way over towards us. This morning we woke up to sunny skies and beautiful views, we had no idea that behind all of the rain, clouds, and fog there were gorgeous mountains hovering over the beaches. This morning we set off for wine country…Christine is in heaven. Stay tuned for more photos and some amazing views.
